Start with one representative page
A browser extension helps inspect the page you are viewing without opening several separate tools. Choose a public page that matters to your business, such as a service page or product detail page. Make a note of the URL so you can repeat the check after changes.
Run a manual PageNostic scan
Open the PageNostic toolbar popup on a supported page. Review the detected technologies and basic page-health checks. Start with missing titles, descriptions, headings and image information. Detection depends on publicly visible evidence, so an empty result does not prove a technology is absent.
Keep local checks separate from external tests
Local page inspection and a Google PageSpeed request are different actions. Before requesting a PageSpeed test, review the public URL being submitted and avoid confidential paths. Automatic scanning is optional in the supplied extension release; use manual scans when you want control over which page is inspected.
Verify the result on the actual page
A warning is a starting point for investigation. For example, decorative images may correctly use empty alternative text, while a product image usually needs a useful description. Check the context, make the smallest appropriate correction and run another scan. An extension does not replace a site-wide crawler, accessibility review or security assessment.
